The Independent Alliance Web Day

Elephant and CastleAs a Faber author, I’m officially published by part of the Independent Alliance. This is a great ‘club’, providing strength in numbers for many British independent publishers. And today, many writers have been invited to the depths of the Elephant and Castle labyrinth to attend a seminar about the web.

I’ve met some terrific writers – I’ll blog about them at a future date for sure – but currently we’re taking part in a mass unified blog post session. The room is boiling, sweat is pouring down our arms at the same rate as fingers hit the keyboard, and all in all we’re learning stuff. Useful stuff too.

The web has never had to deal with so many authors posting at the same time. It might just crumble.

I feel yours is the template by which the rest of us will be judged! It all looks great – one day I hope mine will too…

Hello Keith! That’s really kind of you, but I think I still have a long way to go! And your blog’s already looking great – so much content. Makes me realise I need to get busy on making mine smarter too… Good to see you using wordpress!
